We cheated!!

Yup!! That is right people. Joey and I engaged in the horrible act of cheating.....on our diets. But I did it in the best way known to man. Well, actually this way would only be known to Seattleites. We cheated with.............

And my oh my it was ohhhh sooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lately Joey and I have been trying not to eat out as much, eat healthier and get more exersize. Fast food hasn't even been an option in our lives for quite a long time. I can't even remember the last time I consumed it. Anyway, we have been doing really good with our healthy revelation and decided that our reward would be eating out and eating whatever we want the whole time we were on vacation. Well....yesterday we cracked. Our intentions were good throughout the whole day and we had intended to make some sort of chicken dish for dinner. We went and played tennis for a bit then on the drive home it was all down hill from there. We drove by this drive in joint by our home called Burgermaster (which also has good food) and thought that sounded good. Then Joey said "I want Dicks!" He wasn't really serious about going there but just thought it sounded good. I looked at him, smiled, and agreed that did sound fantastic. So I said "screw it...lets go!" We probably hadn't had Dicks for I would say.......maybe couple of years.

I ordered a Special with fries. Joey ordered two Deluxes with fries and large diet for us to share. When he ordered the diet coke the girl looked at him funny and sarcastically said "Diet." Meaning why are you ordering a "diet" coke when you just ordered two Deluxe burgers and fries. She wasn't being mean or anything, her facial expression was just really funny (it was one of those "you just had to be there" moments). But when we drink pop (not very often either) it is always diet so that wasn't something unusual. I also made a comment to Joey about him ordering not one but two Deluxes. He said "If I am going to cheat, I am going to do it right."

Anyway, the food was delicious. When we were done eating we both nodded our heads in satisfaction and agreed that the greesy fries and burgers were a great idea. YUMMY!! It will probably be a while before I go back because I intend to keep up on this healthy revelation when we get back from vacation.
