About Me

My photo
I'm a really big dork and perfectly ok with that. I enjoy life and all of the challenges that come with it. I am a very strong person so it takes a lot to phase me. When a challenge comes my way that tests me a little more than I would like, I have the love and support from loving people who give me the determination I need to make the right decisions.I take relationships very seriously. Trust is something you earn with me...it is not just handed to you. Life is too short to live with regrets.

Warmth and Sunshine: A VERY RARE OCCASION

This past Saturday was soooo warm and beautiful out. It almost reached 80 degrees in some places, which is very rare for April in the Seattle area. But boy was I ecstatic about it. Don’t get me wrong, I like the snow in the winters and I even like rain. But I was getting tired of always having to bundle up and wearing something with a hood. So Saturday I busted out the flip flops and tank top!!! It was a day to be out at the park.

Kara, Rick and his dog Chole, Joey, and I took Gage to his first trip to the park. We went to Bothell Landing (where Joey and I got married) because it has everything. It has a big play area, a few trails, a slough (a small river that connects the Lake Sammamish and Lake Washington) where you can feed the duckys, picnic tables, and a grassy area to throw the football. Overall, it a beautiful park that I am very partial too. We had a lot of fun watching Chloe chase the ducks and we took lots of pictures of Gage around the beautiful scenery. We even got a picture of him in the swing with his mommy behind him. It turned out great even though we couldn’t actually push him on the swing. But what a beautiful day to be out at the park!!

Joey and I then bought a new barbeque. The one we had before was old and actually kinda gross. I am surprised we even ate off it (gross I know). But Joey was happy that he got a new “man grill,” and I am too. We invited family and friends over to enjoy it and had a great time!!

Saturday was just an awesome day! I loved the weather!!! So, you would think that since Saturday was so warm and beautiful that Sunday’s weather couldn’t be that bad. WRONG!! Yup, it was raining and it is still raining as I am writing this. It is amazing how the weather can do a huge 180 in the matter of hours. BOO for rain… I want the sunshine back!!!!! Hopefully soon….I only hope!!!
