I love my sister!!!

So, I just got an email from my sister....and this is what it said....

"So if I had a blog this is what it would read:

So Gage and I were leaving our apartment last night at 5:55pm to go to Kelsey's (Nikki's daughter) violin concert and I saw that I had a note in a sealed envelope on my front door. So I opened it and it was a Pay or Evict in 3 days notice!!!! Are you fucking kidding me!!! So Gage and I hauled ass down to the office and I tried to go in but the door was locked. So I looked at me phone and it said 5:58pm...mind you they close at 6pm and I could see about 3 people in the office and no one was coming into let me in. So I pounded on the door again and a maintenance guy came and opened the door and I said "It's 5:58 and you guys don't close till 6!!" as I walked by him. Kind of bitchy but I was pissed and the fact that the door was locked early pissed me off even more!! So I saw the manager in his office and so I just walked in and put the notice on his desk and said "can you explain to me why I am being evicted AND why you think I owe you almost $600!!" The guy who was very nice said yes mam I can help you. So I sat down and he pulled up my account and found that when we moved in back in July of 2007 we didn't pay the $17 prorated parking fee and I said well no one told me that we owed that money and this is the first that I had heard of it. I said ok I can pay that but what about the rest. By now I am late for Kelsey's concert and luckily Gage is sleeping in his car seat. So I text Nikki and tell her to go without me cause we will be late to the concert. I felt bad cause Kelsey wanted Gage to pick her up and take her to her concert. Oh well I had to deal with these fuck faces first. So, he looked further into it and found that back in March I didn't pay my full rent and that I was like $268 short. I told the guy that was because Alan's truck as been towed for no reason and that the lady in named Deb said that we could deduct the amount from our rent as long as I gave her a copy of the receipt from the tow company. After telling him that he just sat there for what seemed like a long time and said "so this time only I will take this off your balance but this is not something that we normally do" and I said thank you and what about the rest of the balance owed. So he goes on to tell me that I paid my rent late on March and April and got a $75 late fee for each month...I then blew up at him! I was pissed! I said how is it that my rent checks clear before the 3rd and rent is not considered late until 4th!! The guy just looked at me with big eyes and then just turned and looked back at his computer screen. I said this is bull shit! I have never been late on rent payment or had any complaint against me. Then he goes on to tell me that I also had a late fee for May...and then when he told me that I lost my mind! I went crazy! I stood up and said how the fuck is that possible when I paid rent on April 30th and it fucking cleared my account on May 2nd!!! He said that because I had a balance owing of more than $100 that every month I would accrue a late fee of $75 till it was paid! This is the most bull shit I have ever heard! By this time the guy was saying "mam just calm down and have a seat"...so I sat down but I was still extremely pissed off. He looks at his computer screen some more and then said that he will take off the late fee's of $225.00 if I agreed to pay the $17 and then my account would be $0. I said that's fine but I also want a print out stating that my account is at $0 and that the eviction notice is voided.
So needless to say even though we will be moving out in July as planned...if we weren't planning on moving out we would have been after last night. That apt complex if the worst I have ever lived in and I have lived in alot of different places."



So...this is just another example that we don't like being taken advantage of....she went from apparently having to owe almost $600 to only paying $17 like it should have been in the first place!!...Not to shabby!!!
