About Me

My photo
I'm a really big dork and perfectly ok with that. I enjoy life and all of the challenges that come with it. I am a very strong person so it takes a lot to phase me. When a challenge comes my way that tests me a little more than I would like, I have the love and support from loving people who give me the determination I need to make the right decisions.I take relationships very seriously. Trust is something you earn with me...it is not just handed to you. Life is too short to live with regrets.

Proud Wifey

After 22 weeks of training, 21 tests, a 15 page paper, 40 page paper, a store specific project and presentation, numerous hours of “classroom work,” and a few job shadows….my wonderful, hardworking husband is finally finished with his management training program with Safeway. He worked damn hard the last 5 months (not to mention last 5 years) and I couldn’t more proud of him. He starts his new assistant manager position this Sunday. He will be working in the same district he has been so we won’t be moving anytime soon. Even though we would have been happy to move somewhere new, I don’t think we are quite ready… just yet. Maybe in a couple of years when he becomes a Store manager and they make us an offer we can’t refuse. Safeway has been really good to him so we will see. But finishing this training program is a huge step so he is on his way!!!! Ahh, but I am so very proud of this major step that he has accomplished. Way to go boo – luv ya!!
